Equipment

  • 1 Saucepan Medium-sized for even heating.
  • 1 Whisk or spoon For stirring the mixture.
  • 1 Glass jar/bottle Airtight for storage.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Water Filtered or tap water works fine.
  • 1 cup Sugar-free sweetener Erythritol, monk fruit, or stevia.
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract optional, Adds a warm, sweet flavor.
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon or citrus zest optional For a flavor twist.

Instructions
 

  • Combine water and sugar-free sweetener in a saucepan.
  • Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sweetener dissolves completely.
  • Simmer for 2–3 minutes (avoid boiling to prevent crystallization).
  • Remove from heat and let cool. Add optional flavorings if desired.
  • Transfer to a glass jar or bottle and store in the fridge.

Notes

  • For a thicker syrup, simmer longer.
  • Experiment with flavors like mint, ginger, or berries.
  • Always taste before cooling to adjust sweetness.
  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
