1 Saucepan Medium-sized for even heating.
1 Whisk or spoon For stirring the mixture.
1 Glass jar/bottle Airtight for storage.
- 1 cup Water Filtered or tap water works fine.
- 1 cup Sugar-free sweetener Erythritol, monk fruit, or stevia.
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract optional, Adds a warm, sweet flavor.
- 1 pinch Cinnamon or citrus zest optional For a flavor twist.
Combine water and sugar-free sweetener in a saucepan.
Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sweetener dissolves completely.
Simmer for 2–3 minutes (avoid boiling to prevent crystallization).
Remove from heat and let cool. Add optional flavorings if desired.
Transfer to a glass jar or bottle and store in the fridge.
